Αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα Αγγλικής Φιλολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και τα μεταπτυχιακά τμήματα του Claremont Graduate School (MA: Θεωρία της Λογοτεχνίας, Φιλοσοφία της Αναγέννησης) και του University of East Anglia (MA: Σκηνοθεσία Θεάτρου).
Επίσης σπούδασε υποκριτική στο Pomona College. Από το 1999 κι έπειτα έχει μεταφράσει δεκάδες θεατρικά έργα για το επαγγελματικό θέατρο. Ενδεικτικά αναφέρονται τα: Εκτός Σχεδίου του David Mamet, 4.48 Ψύχωση της Sarah Kane, πνεύμα της Margaret Edson, Γλυκό Πουλί της Νιότης του Tennessee Williams, Όνειρο Θερινής Νύχτας του William Shakespeare, Mεγαλείο της Abi Morgan. Από το 2003-2004 διετέλεσε υπεύθυνος αρχαιολογικής και φιλολογικής έρευνας στο τμήμα Κλεψύδρα της τελετής έναρξης στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες, αλλά και υπεύθυνος για τη σκηνοθεσία παρέλασης αθλητών στην τελετή λήξης των Παραολυμπιακών αγώνων.
Έχει σκηνοθετήσει ανάμεσα σε άλλα τα: Cloud Nine της Caryl Churchill, Γλάρος του Αnton Chekhov, Φίδι του Jean Claude Van Italie, Ελένη του Ευριπίδη, Ψάχνοντας τον Γκοντώ, Αγνώστου Ταυτότητος Ανθρώπινα Υπολείμματα και η Πραγματική Φύση της Αγάπης του Brad Fraser.
